Buhari for Dakar forum on peace and security in Africa

President Muhammadu Buhari will attend  the third Dakar international forum on peace and security in Africa, in Senegal scheduled for December 5 to 6. The special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, made this know in a statement on Sunday.
The theme of the two day forum is, "Africa and its security challenges: perspectives for effective solution".
Adesina said the forum convened by the President Macky Sall of Senegal with the support from the African Union to discuss security-related challenges on the continent, would be attended by African leaders and representatives of regional and international organisations.
The Presidential spokesman stated that president Buhari was scheduled to participate in the panel of Heads of State on Tuesday, December 6.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday charged the Ambassadors-designate, who were recently cleared by the Senate, to change the narrative of Nigeria as seen by the outside world. President Buhari gave the assurance on Monday in Abuja while declaring open an induction course organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Nigerian Career Ambassadors-designate. The Ambassadors-designate were recently cleared by the Senate. He specifically charged the Ambassadors-designate to change the narrative of Nigeria outside the country by playing up the positive values and outstanding contributions of Nigerians in the global arena.
