Breaking news! President Muhammadu Buhari arrives Lagos to commission three war ships and 27 patrol boats at the Naval Dockyard, Victoria Island in Lagos.

Several roads in Lagos were blocked with traffic on Thursday as President Muhammadu Buhari visited Lagos to commission three war ships and 27 patrol boats at the Naval Dockyard, Victoria Island in Lagos.

Buhari landed at the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport shortly before noon and was received by Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.

There were reports of long lines of traffic as vehicles were barred from certain routes by military and police. The gridlock stretched from areas on the island to the mainland as traffic was reported on Funsho Williams Avenue and Ikorodu Road as well as Third Mainland Bridge.
