The long awaited list of the new management team of the Central Bank of Nigeria will arrive the National Assembly any minute from now. Our insider sources said President Buhari instructed the acting President to forward the list today before his return this weekend.
The incumbent Team led by Godwin Emefiele is in fear over the development.
However, the deputy Governors are quarreling with the Central Bank governor over the last minute deals and contracts approved by the Governor in the last three months.
However all efforts for the incumbent management team to extend their stay have collapsed. The new management team headed by the former managing director of Unity Bank, Mr Henry Semenitari would have been announced since July last year but the politics became very intense following lobby by supporters of Emefiele .

Another reason why the president mellowed down on the announcement is the issue of Board for the central bank of Nigeria. In the new arrangement, the governor of Central Bank of Nigeria will seize to be the chairman of the board. A former Governor of the CBN prof.Charles Soludo, was earlier penciled down for the post of chairman of the board.

 Our insider source has confirmed that the Board will now be headed by a northerner while Charles Soludo will be appointed a cabinet minister or chief economic adviser to the President.
