President Buhari has appointed a former Legal Adviser of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Dr Muiz Banire as chairman of the Governing Board of the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria. The President also appointed the chairman and 12 commissioners of the Federal Civil Service Commission. President of the senate , Bukola Saraki at the plenary today read Buhari’s letters to the legislature in which he sought the approval of the chamber. Meanwhile insiders sources has confirmed to us that the list of the new CBN management team will be read on Thursday as as the issues on the south east nomineee are resolved. More details coming

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday charged the Ambassadors-designate, who were recently cleared by the Senate, to change the narrative of Nigeria as seen by the outside world. President Buhari gave the assurance on Monday in Abuja while declaring open an induction course organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Nigerian Career Ambassadors-designate. The Ambassadors-designate were recently cleared by the Senate. He specifically charged the Ambassadors-designate to change the narrative of Nigeria outside the country by playing up the positive values and outstanding contributions of Nigerians in the global arena.
