Former Senator representing Rivers South East Senatorial District, Magnus Ngei Abe has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, of training its officers in an obscure hotel and with the knowledge of the Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike. He also accused INEC of discussing the Saturday rerun date with the governor wherein Wike had been the one who announced the date even before INEC made its announcement. Speaking at a press briefing in Port Harcourt, Abe said that INEC had been conducting its activities to the knowledge of Governor Nyesom Wike and the PDP.
