The 1995 Ballon d'Or winner is looking to achieve his dream of becoming the number one man in Liberia after he was beaten in 2005, when he came second in the presidential election with just over 40 percent of the vote, behind outgoing president Elen Johnson Sirleaf. The 51-year-old is already a senator and is standing for the Congress for Democratic Change party Weah will have to beat closest rival, Joseph Boakai who is also the incumbent vice president, to become the next president of Liberia. And despite media reports and twitter claiming he has already won, the official result is due later on Thursday, October 12.
