Nigeria's new mega party, APDA officially launched in Abuja

- A newly established party, the Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA), makes several promises to Nigerians ahead of 2019 general elections - A chieftain of the party, Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, announces that the party will carry along all segments of the society in its dealings - Nwanyanwu states that the APDA will introduce electoral college system in voting for its party positions The Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA), has been officially launched in Abuja. The new party which has been talked about in political circles for a while, made several promises to Nigerians ahead of 2019 general elections.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday charged the Ambassadors-designate, who were recently cleared by the Senate, to change the narrative of Nigeria as seen by the outside world. President Buhari gave the assurance on Monday in Abuja while declaring open an induction course organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Nigerian Career Ambassadors-designate. The Ambassadors-designate were recently cleared by the Senate. He specifically charged the Ambassadors-designate to change the narrative of Nigeria outside the country by playing up the positive values and outstanding contributions of Nigerians in the global arena.
